Lead Generation

New customers who ask you for a price.

We find the companies that need what you sell right now, each with a dated reason, write to them in your name, and pass you the ones that reply asking for a price, a call or a trial.

A dated reason to need you now

A name on a list is not a reason to write. We start with the companies where something has just happened, and keep the date and the place we read it, so you can check it yourself.

How it works

Four steps. With a Target List we do the first, and the rest is yours.

  1. 01

    Find

We research companies that fit your brief, starting with the ones with a dated reason to buy, and find who decides.

    All three ways

  2. 02

    Write

Three-step emails in your name, from web addresses like yours, approved by you before any are sent.

    Outreach and Performance

  3. 03

    Hand over

We read every reply. Interested ones reach your named person by 9am UK time the next working day.

    Outreach and Performance

  4. 04

    Improve

A weekly report, and every month the emails rewritten from what got replies, with a 30-minute call.

    Outreach and Performance

What counts as a qualified enquiry

It is the number your weekly report counts, and the one the Performance Partnership is billed on. All four checks have to pass, judged on the email itself.

  1. The company

The company is a UK limited company, LLP, plc or public body, first reached by our outreach, not a current customer, and not quoted by you in the last 12 months.

  2. The person

The person is an owner or director, or works in operations, logistics, purchasing, procurement or the function you sell to.

  3. The ask

They ask in writing for a price for a job or regular work, a trial, a call at a set time, or to set you up as a supplier.

  4. The work

It is work you actually do.

An illustration, written to a commercial cleaning firm. The company and the reply are invented.

Your side

We can hand you interest, but it only becomes work when you call.

So we ask for one named person at your firm who takes the calls.

  • 1 working dayto ring every interested company
  • 2 weeksto log what happened to each

Your website comes first

Every email sends buyers to your website. If it is slow, out of date or broken into, they leave. So every outreach setup starts with website first aid, before the first email goes out.

Need a new website as well? See Websites, or the Full Package, which builds your website and your outreach together.

Website first aid Before the first email

  • Spam and junk pages removed
  • Admin logins reset
  • Software updated as far as is safe
  • Out-of-date details fixed
  • A proper quote form and visitor tracking added
  • The claim on your Google listing started

Questions

Whose name do the emails go out in?

A real person at your firm, with their OK. You approve every email before any are sent, and we read and sort every reply.

Do you use my own email address?

No. We register three web addresses similar to yours, with six inboxes, in your name and yours to keep, and warm them up gently for two weeks. Your main email is never used.

How many companies a month?

Once at full speed, 800 to 1,100 new companies a month, found, emailed and followed up. In the first month it is 400 to 600, while the new inboxes build up. From the second month we promise at least 700 in every full month, or that month's fee is cut in proportion.

How soon do the emails go out?

About three weeks after signing. Two of those weeks are gentle warm-up on the new inboxes.

Who do you never write to?

Sole traders and partnerships, your current customers, and anyone you have a live quote with. We only write to limited companies, LLPs, plcs and public bodies, and anyone who asks us to stop is never written to again.

Do you promise customers?

No. Nobody honest can. Each page says in writing what we do promise, and on the Performance Partnership most of the fee follows results.

What do I need to give you?

Five things. The work you want more of and how much you can take on, who not to contact, proof we can use, who takes the calls, and what we need to set up the sending addresses.

Can I pause?

Yes. Tell us you are full and new first emails stop within one working day. You can also pause for up to eight weeks a year for £150 a month, which keeps the inboxes warm.

Tell us what you sell, and who buys it.

We will tell you which way of working fits, what it costs, and how soon the first emails could go out.

  1. A person writes back by the next weekday morning, UK time.
  2. A short call about your work, your area and how much you can take on.
  3. If it fits, a secure payment link or an invoice, and we start.

Rather talk first? Ring 0113 490 0521, weekdays 9am to 5pm UK time. At any other time, book a call and we ring you back.

We use these details to reply, and for nothing else. Privacy.
