City reports, counted in public.

Every city we read gets a free public report: how many of its businesses run their own email, how many of those publish no enforced DMARC policy, and the dates of the reads. No business is named, on any page, ever.

No enforced DMARC policy means no DMARC record was published, or the record's policy is set to monitor only. Reports are republished when a city is read again. To cite a report, link to its page and give the read dates.

What a report is for

A city report is the same count for everybody, published so it can be checked. Your area is the ten miles around your own office, and that count is free too.

Every figure is read from what a business publishes about itself: its public DNS, the certificate it presents, and its own pages. The method, including what is read and what is never read, is published in full.

  • For an IT firm. The size of the fixable problem in your city, with a date on it, before you spend anything.
  • For a journalist or a council. A number you can cite, and a method you can read.
  • For a business that is in the count. Run four lookups yourself, free, and read each answer against the fix: Check your domain.

Not read your city yet?

Tell us your firm's website. If we have already read your city and found your firm among its IT firms, you see the counts straight away. If not, a person writes back to you by hand on a weekday morning, UK time: the same morning, or the next one if you write after midday.

Free, counts only, no account.
